Lonavala, the pride of Indian state of Maharashtra, is one of the most famous hill stations. It is conveniently located 64 km away from the city of Pune and 96 km away from the city of Mumbai, hence it is the favorite getaway for the residents of both the cities.

There are number of amazing trekking spots in Lonavala including Tung Fort, Visapur fort and Duke's Nose etc.

Tung Fort: It is a hill fort, located at an elevation of 1075 m above sea level. It can easily be approached from Lonavala. Surrounded by water on three sides, Tung Fort is a unique trekking spot featuring a sharp conical peak, oval shape, thick walls and numerous bastions.

Visapur fort: It is also a hill fort located at an elevation of 1084 meters above sea level near Visapur village in Maharashtra, India. Its caves, cisterns of water, a decorated arch and old houses make it indeed a great trekking spot.

Duke's Nose: Also known as Nagphani or Cobra's Hood, Duke's Nose is in fact a very pleasurable trek. Its shape is like a nose or a thumb, offering many opportunities to witness and admire the incredible natural beauty.
